It’s not necessarily a bad thing, but it doesn’t carry with it the infamy of Florida or Texas or the same depth of stereotypes like California or New York — while also not being forgotten like Wyoming or Delaware. It’s named after a Sioux tribe, meaning “wooden canoe people”, and the largest man-made national monument is in St. Louis: the Gateway Arch. The first great mastodon ever found was in MO, and America’s only “cave restaurant” is in Richland! The tallest man in recorded history, Robert Wadlow, came from St. Louis (he was 8’11, or 271.78cm). As for weird laws or governance, single men between the ages of 21-50 must pay one extra tax dollar every year. With all that being said, enjoy wasting your time with tese Missouri memes!
