A Guest commenter requested that IWSMT make a list of synonyms for wasting time, so who are we to deny time-wasting with wasting our time to waste your time with time-wasting? I…actually don’t know how to answer the question, I confused myself. BUT that doesn’t matter! This list has some nouns, adjectives, and verbs (all English) for wasting time and dawdling. The goal was to find ones that are lesser heard of (if at all), so things like “dawdle” were skipped over — though not the most commonly used word, it’s still common enough that it wasn’t special! So enjoy indoltently wasting your time with this expert list to make you an otiose laggard!
