For me as a mom, a doctor’s appointment isn’t a check-up its a crazy adventure… Every visit, it’s me, the doctor, and my toddler, who has zero intention of cooperating and every intention of becoming a feral velociraptor with rhinitis. Need an injection? Forget the needle…bring out the tranquilizer dart they use for rhinos! She’s sniffling. I’m sweating. The doctor’s just trying to maintain eye contact while a crayon whistles past their ear like it’s a warning shot.
I admire doctors work! They stay calm, kind, and somehow unfazed while my kid tries to bite. So here’s your reminder, dear medical warriors:Even in this germ-covered, tear-streaked, snack-crusted chaos… There’s still room for laughter 🙂
