Norway is a Scandinavian country North of most of Europe, known for its beautiful mountainous vistas, cold weather, and hatred of Sweden. It’s also the next stop on IWSMT’s unofficial “meme lists of countries”! With the world being full of so many different countries, languages, and cultures, Norway often gets overlooked. But with its recency in the news and in Guy’s inability to find memes for other countries less talked about, it’ll have to suffice. For Australian IWSMT community members, “Norway” is one of the ways they say no – but to the rest of us, it’s a place! It’s also a place where it’s illegal to try and intentionally see a polar bear in the wild, so it’s got that going for it, I guess.
