Thanks to community member “JuniperBerries” for the meme theme suggestion! Denmark is one of the nordic countries that finds itself home in Europe, North of Germany. Ranked as one of the happiest countries in the world according to the UN World Happiness Report (pretty consistently), this little (in relative to its neighbors) country has quite the name for itself! The country flag is more than 800 years old, making it the oldest flag in the world, and they don’t have a word for “please” — unrelated facts but I wanted to make that sentence longer. The Danish language also apparently is one of the hardest languages to learn, with three extra letters that don’t exist in English and a bunch of silent letters and complex pronunciations. Perhaps that sentence would have been better for the “please” fact…
